At it's best, 3D Design and Printing can enhance your classroom experience, prepare your students for their future and deepen their learning, and even become a fundraising/self-funding endeavour. Unfortunately, many teachers are jumping in blind, only to find out that it can be a frustratingly steep learning curve without support and giving up - if you have been thinking about bringing 3D work into your school, or have a printer collecting dust, I would like to show you how I have begun to make it work at my school (after several years of nearly giving up!). I will share some great resources, talk about affordable printer options, and discuss some of the nitty gritty details of 3D printing. Together, we can discuss some of the great possibilities that 3D printing has for YOUR classroom!
