In this session, educators will consider how to apply foundational knowledge about First Nations, Métis and Inuit traditions, histories and contemporary realities to the elementary classroom to support reconciliation through education. Engaging students through authentic and meaningful experiences that include Indigenous ways of knowing is key._x000D_
The presenter will highlight Take Action for Reconciliation which is a resource from Scholastic Education Canada for Grades 3-8.
