In this Writing workshop; we will demonstrate how Indigenous knowledge and perspectives can be brought into K-6 classrooms through balanced literacy. Participants will have an opportunity to explore authentic resources and learn strategies that will assist in sharing Indigenous perspectives, treaty education and reconciliation in a writers workshop.
